OR: US 97 Redmond Reroute

Oregon DOT’s $91 million project rerouted U.S. 97 around downtown Redmond, improving traffic flow on the primary north/south highway from California to Washington for the central and eastern parts of the state. Innovative management used to accomplish this reroute produced benefits for Redmond’s urban renewal, regional freight mobility, the regional economy, traffic safety, and congestion relief.
