RI: Route 403 Relocation Project

The Route 403 Relocation Project reached a significant milestone on October 22, 2008 when the new 4.5-mile highway opened to traffic. RIDOT used GARVEE bonds (Grant Anticipated Revenue Vehicles), accelerating the project five to seven years earlier than projected.
