This project redesigned and reconstructed three roadway projects under one contract in St. Louis, reducing congestion. The project, which began in July 2009, was finished a month ahead of schedule in August 2011 and about $2.4 million under budget the estimated $34.8 million budget. MoDOT attributes the success of the project to strong attention to detail, partnerships through the design and construction phases, and community involvement. |
