NM: Paseo del Norte/I-25 Reconstruction Project

NM Paseo del NorteNew Mexico Department of Transportation’s Paseo del Norte/I-25 Reconstruction Project improved traffic flow and eased congestion at one of the Albuquerque region’s busiest interchanges. The project team completed the project ahead of schedule in 15 months rather than 24 months, saving time and reducing inconveniences to motorists. The new interchange not only improves travel for the 154,000 vehicles that utilize the crossing daily, but also contains a bike and pedestrian bridge across I-25 to support non-motorized travel along the corridor.

  1. The picture that is shown does no justice to how beautiful this project has turned out, and how much our state has benefitted from its completion.
