| MD45 – York Road Urban Revitalization Project Baltimore, MD “The York Road streetscape continues to accomplish its goals. Traffic appears to flow more smoothly, the pedestrian pathways are clear and accessible, and the corridor is much more aesthetically pleasing. Overall, the project helped to join the many neighborhoods along York Road that we call home.” |

As part of this urban revitalization projects, the Maryland DOT pulled together a design task force consisting of consultants, state and local government representatives, community liaisons, and the business community to develop a context-sensitive design for improvements along a 1.6-mile stretch of York Road in Baltimore city and county.
