MO: Smooth Roads Initiative

Missouri DOT’s Smooth Roads Initiative (dubbed “Smoother, Safer, Sooner”) put transportation in the state back on track. On December 8, 2006 MoDOT Director, Pete Rahn and Missouri Governor Roy Blunt painted the last section of edgeline striping to complete the project a full 12 months ahead of schedule.
