TX: SH 48 Widening at Bahia Grande

Part of a huge wetland restoration, this $16.8-million transportation project widened 9.7 miles of State Highway (SH) 48 from two to four lanes. The project also worked with numerous local, state and environmental groups to overcome unique challenges in this environmentally sensitive area.
