Alaska Department and Public Facilities and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport’s (TSAIA) $4.8 million Master Plan Update project developed a fiscally responsible plan to develop the state’s largest airport. TSAIA is a major hub with the movement of people and goods for the region, connecting Alaska to the rest of the United States and the world. The master plan was conducted through a comprehensive public outreach program with participation from more than 100 groups, web-based open houses, and 13 listening posts to gather feedback. The mix of traditional and digital outreach was the largest ever campaign undertaken by the airport.
