Georgia DOT’s $30.9 million I-20 East CD Lane in the metro Atlanta provides a safe and efficient travel option on an interstate plagued by collisions. The project improves on- and off-ramps while separating merging traffic with main line traffic, reducing the need to change lanes. Since completion of the project, the new lanes have reduced travel times by 66 percent, saving motorists time and cutting crashes and collisions.
