Texas Department of Transportation’s $24.1 million West 7th Street Bridge project improves safety and expands transportation options by replacing a nearly 100-year-old bridge with limited pedestrian and bicycling access. TxDOT’s new bridge includes a path for pedestrians and cyclists. Thanks to this connect between Fort Worth’s downtown and the 7th Street urban village, the community can now develop and grow with a safer connection between the two neighborhoods.
