Colorado Department of Transportation’s $24 million I-70 Interchange project upgraded portions of the I-70 interchange, adding pedestrian bridges over the interstate that improve pedestrian safety and mobility while also adding a mile of new sidewalks and pathways for pedestrians and cyclists. The completed project eliminated major congestion and backups in the corridor while providing multi-modal options for commuters along I-70.
