Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s $119 million I-244 Downtown Tulsa Double-Decker Bridge project increased safety and reliability while reducing congestion by replacing two major river crossings in Tulsa. The new structure serves motorists as well as pedestrians, cyclists, and a possible future passenger rail line. The multi-modal bridge replaced an aging structure with a bridge fit for future growth and development in Downtown Tulsa and the region.
