Located in Nassau County, State Road 200 links to one of the main connectors in the region: Interstate 95. With the area seeing substantial population growth in the last several years, the Florida Department of Transportation’s $41 million project reduced congestion and provided this growing community with transportation options. The project added extra lanes to accommodate traffic and reduce congestion; lanes that also provide more options to travelers as they enter the interchange, saving time. Meanwhile, sidewalks and bicycle lanes provide residents and tourists heading to nearby Fernandina beach with alternative transportation options.
