| Hooksett NHDOT’s $23 million Hooksett Toll Plaza project effectively increased capacity and safety conditions around the toll plaza while improving the surrounding environment by decreasing the number of idling vehicles waiting to pay their toll. By allowing motorists to drive through a toll plaza and pay the toll electronically without slowing down or stopping, the project dramatically improved traffic flow through the plaza while improving air quality and lowering the overall cost to operate the toll plaza. |
