The Legacy Parkway was constructed in three segments, joining mass transit and other transportation elements to create a “shared solution” in response to burgeoning traffic on Utah’s most congested freeway corridor. It also provided an extensive community-based trail system, innovative aesthetics, and landscaping, while limiting impacts to built and natural environments.
