New Jersey Department of Transportation’s $22.6 million project brought congestion relief, safer travel conditions and improved access to thousands of motorists traveling the intersection at Craig Road and East Freehold Road in Monmouth County. Improvements to the north and south of the intersection include better access to businesses along Route 9, wider roads to increase mobility, new overhead and cantilevered signage at and near the intersection and new bio-retention basins to improve storm water management.
