Mississippi Department of Transportation’s $90 million project improved safety, mobility and access for residents and visitors in Ridgeland and Madison County with the construction of frontage roads, bridges, retaining walls, pedestrian walkways, bike lanes and a new four-lane boulevard. The new improvements handle over 78,000 vehicles daily and have improved response times for emergency responders and accessibility to businesses along the frontage roads boosting the local economy and tourism between Memphis and Jackson.
